Bonjour les amis, je vous emmène aujourd’hui dans le grand nord canadien, terre sacrée du peuple des premières nations, où un père et son jeune fils marchent paisiblement sur un chemin de montagne. Les arbres dansent doucement sous la brise, les oiseaux chantent, et chaque pas semble vibrer avec le cœur de la Terre-Mère.
Soudain, le garçon trébuche sur une racine et pousse un cri de douleur : “Ahhhh !”
À sa grande surprise, une voix venue de la montagne lui répond : “Ahhhh !”
Intrigué, le garçon demande : “Qui es-tu ?”
La montagne lui répond tout simplement : “Qui es-tu ?”
Frustré par cette réponse mystérieuse, il s’écrie avec colère : “Tu es un lâche !”
Et la montagne lui renvoie : “Tu es un lâche !”
Déconcerté, le garçon se tourne alors vers son père et demande : “Père, que se passe-t-il ?”
Le sage père sourit doucement et lui répond : “Écoute bien, mon fils.”
Il se tourne vers la montagne et crie : “Je t’admire !”
La montagne répond aussitôt : “Je t’admire !”
Puis il lance avec bienveillance : “Tu es merveilleux !”
Et l’écho de la montagne répond alors : “Tu es merveilleux !”
Le garçon, étonné, ouvrit grand les yeux sans comprendre. Le père s’accroupit à son niveau, posa une main sur son épaule et lui expliqua :
“La vie est un miroir. Si tu offres amour, bonté et respect, c’est ce que la vie te renverra. Si tu cultives la colère et la méfiance, c’est aussi ce que tu recevras.”
“Nous n’attirons pas ce que nous souhaitons, nous attirons ce que nous sommes. Change ton regard, ton cœur, ton souffle, et le monde autour de toi changera aussi. C’est ainsi que l’échos de la montagne nous montre le chemin.”
Alors, la prochaine fois que vous vous sentez en difficulté, que tout semble se liguer contre vous, demandez-vous comment vous avez pu contribuer à cette situation ? Hello friends, today I’m taking you to the far north of Canada, a sacred land for the First Nations people, where a father and his young son are walking peacefully along a mountain path. The trees dance gently in the breeze, the birds sing, and each step seems to vibrate with the heart of Mother Earth.
Suddenly, the boy trips over a root and lets out a cry of pain: “Ahhhh!”
To his surprise, a voice from the mountain answers him: “Ahhhh!”
Intrigued, the boy asks: “Who are you?”
The mountain simply replies: “Who are you?”
Frustrated by this mysterious answer, he angrily cries out: “You are a coward!”
And the mountain replies: “You are a coward!”
Bewildered, the boy turned to his father and asked, “Father, what’s going on?”
The wise father smiled gently and replied, “Listen carefully, my son.”
He turned to the mountain and shouted, “I admire you!”
The mountain immediately replied, “I admire you!”
Then he said kindly, “You are wonderful!”
And the mountain echoed back, “You are wonderful!”
The boy, astonished, opened his eyes wide, uncomprehending. The father crouched down to his level, placed a hand on his shoulder, and explained, “Life is a mirror. If you offer love, kindness, and respect, that is what life will reflect back to you. If you cultivate anger and mistrust, that is also what you will receive.”
“We don’t attract what we wish for, we attract what we are. Change your outlook, your heart, your breath, and the world around you will change too. This is how the echoes of the mountain show us the way.”
So, the next time you feel like you’re struggling, when everything seems to be conspiring against you, ask yourself how you contributed to this situation? Have you truly demonstrated open-mindedness and kindness? Remember that, like the echoes of the mountain, we often only receive what we sow…
